Helpful Link for Writers

I tried very hard to get a post about novel revision up tonight, and couldn't do it. It's in the works.

For today: Writers, if you haven't seen the Emotional Thesaurus, check it out! It's very useful when all of your characters start using the same exact mannerisms every time they get frightened or angry or excited.

  2. Intriguing. I'll look forward to following this series. Thanks, Jenna.

I admit, sometimes the writing is a process of discovery, and it's almost less that I wanted to write a story than that the story wanted me to write it, if that makes any sort of sense.

But when I've found the story, it makes me have to go back and rewrite it. And, admittedly, I haven't written a thirty-day novel yet!

  3. Thanks, Mr. Pond! I hope you enjoy it.

I like your thoughts about a story wanting you to write it, and can totally see how that would happen. Inspiration is an interesting thing.
